Glory for Serbia in Dubai!
Serbia were crowned World League champions for another year, after thrashing Hungary 10-6 in the final match of the Super Final held in Dubai and spreading terror to their rivals ahead of the forthcoming European Championships (Budapest, July 14th-27th)!
The Serbs left no chance to their rivals and confirmed their superiority, which makes them look as the favorite for the European gold medal, too, despite the fact that the competitions will be played on Hungarian soil.
At Hamdan Sports Complex, Dubai, Serbia looked as unbeatable as ever in all their matches, final included: They met some resistance in the start, but took off in the 2nd quarter and by the end of the 3rd quarter they were leading 10-3!
The outclassed Magyars could only react towards the last minutes, when they trimmed the distance and saved their pride. However, they will be surely planning a revenge for the Europeans of Budapest, where there will be stronger and definitely boosted by the home crowd…
